Turning insight into meaningful, sustainable change.

Psychology-informed coaching for Perfectionists, Procrastinators, and Problem-solvers.

“Who looks outside, dreams;

Who looks inside, awakens.”

Carl Jung

Affirming, insightful coaching that quiets the noise and invites you to listen.

Blending evidence-based psychological tools and frameworks with creative reflection and embodied awareness, this is coaching for inflection points.

A space where curiosity is nurtured. Where you find meaningful insight, surfacing and giving substance to everyday thoughts and experiences. Where you draw on your intrinsic knowledge - opening new channels of communication and leaning into what feels right, rather than what is expected. Where you reflect on unhelpful patterns and beliefs, reshaping outgrown narratives and resetting boundaries.

This is coaching that moves you forward with integrity and purpose.

paper birds: where understanding deepens, possibility is found and felt, and momentum grows.

our approach

At paper birds, we provide 1:1 and group coaching (both online and in-person) for people who:

  • strive for excellence and struggle with perfectionism

  • procrastinate in spite of strong insight and ability

  • struggle to “switch off” and feel disconnected, depleted, or burnt out

  • care deeply about what they do, and are looking for ways to give sustainably

  • need a sounding board - space to reflect, troubleshoot, and recalibrate without pressure or expectation

“This is deep, meaningful work, grounded in integrity and purpose - but there is lightness too, and joy.”

Our coaching is rooted in psychological science and professional coaching practice - combining evidence-based psychological frameworks and tools with creative reflection and embodied awareness. This allows us to work not only at the level of goals and habits, but at the deeper levels of identity, values and beliefs - embedding change that doesn’t just sound good, but feels right. This is coaching, not therapy - focused on solutions, while honouring the depth of your everyday experience.

Our work together is supportive and affirming, without losing sight of the results you want to achieve, and the effort required to get there. Together, we’ll turn ideas and intentions into actionable next steps that are guided by your values, rather than expectation or pressure.

This is where insight becomes integrated - moving you forward with clarity and purpose, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

meet Meg

I’m Dr. Meg Attwood, founder of paper birds.

I work alongside perfectionists, procrastinators, and problem solvers - offering psychology-informed coaching that blends evidence-based tools with creative reflection and embodied awareness.

My coaching is warm, perceptive, and outcomes-focused: a genuine partnership for those ready to move the needle.

“Meg has helped me to find clarity during every coaching session that we have had together. We have covered topics such as managing relationships with key players at work, crystallising my mind around our corporate strategy, managing stress, and better understanding my role within the business. Each time I am surprised, and somewhat exhilarated, by how much insight Meg is able to offer, on pretty much any issue. There’s clearly a science to it, but Meg makes it feel as natural as breathing.”
